A Native Son of Washington, DC.  Educated in the DC Public School System: Graduate of Dunbar High School (formerly known as the M Street High School) where both the Honorable Oscar J. Cooper & the Honorable Frank Coleman are amongst its most distinguished alumni.)

Southeastern University, Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Information Management Systems, 1996.

Married to Mrs. LaSonya Jackson and we are the proud parents of Mark E. Jackson, Jr. & Antoine Martin.

Faithful member of Faith Temple #2 Original Freewill Baptist Church, located in Capital Heights, MD.

Employment Information:

Employed with the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) as a GS-15, Deputy Director for Enterprise Infrastructure Services (EIS).  As the Deputy Director for EIS, I supervise and lead a staff of 600+ civilian and contractor personnel, provides advice, counsel, and/or instruction to staff members. Perform a range of information technology (IT) management activities to include strategic planning, continuous process improvement, capital planning and investment control, workforce planning, policy and standards development, resource management, knowledge management, architecture and infrastructure planning and management, auditing, and information security management.
